Frequently
Asked
Questions
1 / Do you take insurance?
I choose not to work with insurance so I can focus entirely on providing the best care for you without the limitations of insurance coverage. This allows me to offer longer, more personalized sessions and use a wider range of treatment techniques that are tailored specifically to your needs, without the restrictions or delays often imposed by insurance companies. I believe this approach leads to better outcomes and a faster path to recovery.
2 / Is cash-based physical therapy more expensive?
UPT is a cash-based model, meaning that private insurance is not accepted. Although most people find this to be a more expensive way of receiving care, in the long run you may end up paying less than if you were to go through a traditional physical therapy prescription. I will see people for fewer sessions, with higher quality care via one-on-one treatment. This tends to lead to better outcomes and a reduced expenditure on your end. If you have any additional questions about payment or rates please contact me through the medium that is most convenient for you.
3 / Can I use my HSA to pay for physical therapy?
You can use your Health Savings Account (HSA) to pay for your sessions. Since physical therapy is considered a qualified medical expense, simply use your HSA funds to pay for sessions. If needed, I can also provide a receipt for reimbursement through your HSA provider. This allows you to take advantage of tax-free savings while investing in your health.
